revival

I have decided to revive this effectively defunct blog by making short concise entries about current events as often as I can. I will probably try to post some of my previous Facebook comments that have generated discussion, as well as notes, to give some background in certain important areas which were not a part of this blog. In the meantime, look for new publications of this blog soon, starting today re: the alleged ground zero mosque issue.

First Blog-Purpose

I have created this Blog to continue encouraging an intellectual discussion on liberal thought. Whereas our movement is often promoted through emotional techniques (and rightly so), it is equally important to promote the intellectual thought underlying progressive ideals.

I will post blogs on occasion on a variety of topics. These postings will hopefully provide an intellectual defense of numerous liberal positions.
